New Nokia Lumia 720 Dual Sim

A new Nokia smartphone is in the news today and this time it's not a phablet, but a dual-SIM Windows Phone smartphone. While we still wait for official confirmation of Nokia's rumored Lumia 1520, which is expected to be launched on September 26, a fresh rumor has claimed that the company might be working on its first dual-SIM Lumia smartphone as well.

Nokia, being the largest manufacturer of WP8 handsets, could bring this feature first in the market. Rumors keep coming about WP8 powered handsets to have dual SIM capability. Last month, Nokia Lebanon hinted at Nokia Lumia 625 soon be getting dual-SIM version. The tweet sent from the official Nokia Lebanon account, reads: "It's a smartphone, it's Dual Sim and it's golden.

The dual-SIM Nokia Lumia 720 is expected to still sport the familiar smartphone specifications. However, pricing scheme is predicted to be a little expensive.Another previous report suggested that the dual-SIM variant will be made available through the Nokia Lumia 625 smartphone. Nokia Lebanon made the announcement on Twitter to excite the device enthusiasts, but the post was immediately removed and the Finnish company did not give any statement to confirm or deny the news.

Nokia originally launched the Lumia 720 along with the Lumia 520. The former comes with a 4.3-inch display and has a Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1GHz SoC under the hood as well as 512MB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 8GB of in-built storage which can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD slot. Photography-wise, the smartphone comes with a 6.7-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front shooter. Connectivity options like Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi and 3G are all supported. The device weights 128grams and measures 127.9x67.5x9.0mm. Rounding up the package is a 2000mAh battery.

This is not the only device that Nokia has been reported working on. The Finnish company has reportedly been working on its first phablet offering, the Lumia 1520 aka Bandit.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is now official and headed to around 140 countries later this month, as announced by the company. We have first bit of indication of pricing, with telecom carriers in the US starting the pre-order process.
AT&T has started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 3 for $299.99 with a new two-year contract. The telecom operator says that the device will ship around October 1 and also that the Galaxy Gear, Samsung's smartwatch, will be available in the "coming weeks". AT&T's contract pricing of the Galaxy Note 3 translates into an off-contract pricing of approximately $700 (Rs. 46,000 approximately) ,Engadget notes.

Build of Note 3 has been totally reformed and have been made to meet both styling and to reduce chances of stumbling which can be due to manufacturing its units in massive amount which is to be released by Samsung over 140 countries. Changes here I meant that instead of using Polished Plastic back panel Samsung is going to use the Leather covering which makes Note 3 look fairer. Initially company will release Galaxy Note 3 in nine colors, and the covers for it will be released of Rainbow colors which will be the case of interest.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with a 5.7-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display. It comes in two variants: the LTE-variant will be powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, and the 3G (HSDPA) version will be powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core Exynos processor. Both models bear 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and sport a 13-megapixel rear camera alongside a 2-megapixel front camera. The Note 3 is powered by 3,200mAh battery and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Connectivity options on the Note 3 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth v4.0 (LE), IR, and MHL 2.0. It comes with various sensors like Gesture, Accelerometer, Geo-magnetic, Gyroscope, Proximity, Barometer, Temperature & Humidity, and Hall Sensor.
Note 3 offers 5.7″ Super AMOLED Plus display which has the recent Gorilla Glass protection. If you are not the Geek then it is worth mentioning that Super AMOLED Plus is the technology used in modern Smartphone which ensure you very crisp and clear display and greater brightness levels than ordinary display while the Gorilla Glass Protection allows the maximum protection to your display from any scraches and all.
Note 3 offers a great 1080p resolution display which displays great. Just like of Galaxy S4 touch sensitivity , Note 3 is great along with the viewing angles which is extremely elegant. Note 3 offers highest resolution of 1920 × 1080 which is Full HD, and watching movies is lovable.

BlackBerry Q5 lands in India at Rs 24,990

As expected, which is the most affordable smartphone running its BB10 operating system. Priced at Rs 24,990 , the Q5 not only brings the new swipe-based UI, but also a physical QWERTY keypad, which is a rarity these days. BlackBerry hopes that the two factors – the pricing and physical QWERTY keypad – would help it revive its fortunes in India, one of the few markets where BlackBerry was still witnessing growth before launching BB10. The phone will be available from July 20 onward.

The smartphone is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor along with 2GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded by up to 32GB via microSD card. The phone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front shooter on board. The smartphone also comes with 2,180mAh battery.

On the specifications front, the Q5 bears a striking resemblance to the flagship Q10 with a 3.1-inch 720×720 pixel display sporting a pixel density of 328ppi, 2GB of RAM and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera capable of shooting 720p videos. Some features do get stripped down like a 1.2GHz dual-core processor instead of a 1.5GHz processor, a 5-megapixel rear camera instead of 8-megapixels and 8GB of internal storage instead of 16GB.

The biggest difference, however, is the build quality. The Q10′s premium finish and materials are swapped by plastic in white, black and red options. Even the keypad is a little different than the Q10. Think about it like this – the Q10 would fit in BlackBerry’s erstwhile Bold series while the Q5 would be in the Curve series in terms of both finish and flair.
