Samsung Galaxy S4 launched in India for Rs 41,500


Samsung’s Galaxy S4 has been launched in India for Rs 41, 500. The MRP  for the Galaxy S4 is Rs 45,000. Samsung has launched the 16 GB version of the smartphone. It has a microSD card slot with a 64GB limit.



Samsung had revealed the device on 14 March in New York and had indicated that the device would be available in most countries by April.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy S4 has 2 GB RAM, has a full HD AMOLED display with a five-inch screen and a pixel density of 441 pixels per inch. The screen resolution is 1920×1080 pixels.
It has a removable 2600 mAh battery. S4 has eight sensors, which includes the usual acceleromter, Digital compass, Gyrometer etc. The new sensors are the IR Gesture sensor aka the infrared LED for remote control functions, which allows users to turn their smartphone into a remote for their TV and a sensor for temperature and humidity control.


In terms of processor, the S4 has a 1.6 octa-core (eight core) processor. The device runs Android 4.2.2. version of Jelly Bean overlaid with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface.
The device of course supports 4G LTE and Samsung is launching two versions of the phone 4G and 3G. The device also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. The rear camera is 13 megapixels while the front one is 2 megapixels.

The smartphone also comes packed with a ton of software features such as Air Gesture, which allows users to pick up calls, unlock the phone by just swiping their hand over the device without touching the screen. It also comes with Smart Pause and Smart Scroll, which lets the phone detects if you’re not looking at the smartphone and will pause a video. Also you can simply tilt the phone to scroll up or down while reading.

 The LG Optimus G Pro is the next version of the Optimus G and competes with the likes of Samsung’s Note series and Sony’s Xperia Z. The Optimus G Pro is LG’s first to features a 5.5-inch display and despite holding such a massive screen is easy on grip and manages to look decent enough.
There is a lot of innovation done in the device, and here are our first impressions.

This week the folks at LG have revealed the contents of their soon-approaching press event for New York City: the smartphone known as the LG Optimus G Pro. This device has been released internationally and will be appearing in the United States with 4G LTE capabilities and a set of specifications not unlike that of the international edition. This device will be revealed with full details at the event which will take place on the first of May in the evening at a concert event.

Recently few days back LG announced that it will show it’s new smartphone in May 1st event in United States and now the company has finally confirmed that we will se Optimus G Pro at this event. However, the company has not revealed much details regarding this smartphone but various reports suggest that Optimus G Pro will come with 5.5-inch display screen. In a press event in India, LG revealed that it will launch LG Optimus G Pro in Indian market in coming June or July with a price tag of around Rs. 40,000 ($736).  


LG Optimus G Pro, Qualcomm has also jumped onboard with the Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, this being the same processor coming with the HTC One and the Samsung GALAXY S 4.


LG Optimus G Pro will be powered by a 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. It will comes with a 32GB Internal storage. Running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System, the phone will have 13MP rear camera, front camera and 3,000 mAh battery.

Asus launches 7-inch FonePad with 3G, Intel processor for Rs 15,999



Asus is set to launch its 7-inch FonePad in India today. This device was first revealed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this year. Basically, it’s a seven-inch tablet that runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean but it also allows users to make calls from the tablet itself.
The key features of the tablet are an Intel Atom Z2420 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, a screen resolution of 1280 X 800 wit LED Backlight and In Panel Switching (IPS). The screen supports 10 finger multi-touch.

The phone/tablet has 1GB RAM, and comes in 8GB and 16GB versions as far as total storage space is concerned. There’s also a MicroSD slot with a 32 GB limit. It has a 1.2 megapixel front camera, with 720p video recording and a 3 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus, and 720p video recording.
The device supports WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 3G and voice calls. It will have a 9-hour battery life according to Asus and Micro SIM slot for the SIM card.

Samsung Galaxy S4 going to launch in India on April 26



Samsung officially announced that the shipping of it’s flagship smartphone, Galaxy S4 will begin by the end of this month. And now there is a news regarding Galaxy S4 launch in Indian market. This smartphone will launch in India on Friday April 26.
There is not any details regarding the cost of Samsung Galaxy S4 in Indian market but we expect that it will be priced more than Rs. 40,000. The Indian version of the Galaxy S4 is also expected to be the I9500 model, which comes with a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor.
